It all began when....

in 2010 the founder of Elle Bird wanted fingerprint jewelry to remember her daughter but she couldn't afford it. She figured she wasn't alone in that and took it upon herself to learn how to make fingerprint, hand and footprint jewelry and, working with her daughter's hospice nurse, she began meeting with families that had the same need. Each family received time, attention and care that was outside the 'managing their child's death' box and was able to choose a couple of pieces of jewelry for FREE. They got to choose the shape and the engraving for each piece. They were met right where they were in the grieving process whether weeks before, hours or even months after their child passed away. 

Families that are losing or have lost a child within the last 12 months . Each family receives two medium charms at no cost with their child's fingerprint, hand print or footprints along with customized engraving for each charm. There is no cost to the family.
